Non-Internet Marketing
Client acquisition is one of the most important things you can focus on as a real estate professional. We might even go so far as to say it is THE #1 most important thing to focus on as an agent, since you can have an assistant to help you take care of your current clients and daily tasks. More than likely your pipeline of current leads are at various stages of readiness – some looking to contract within a month or two, others not for another few years. By constantly cultivating new leads, the odds are good that at any given time at least one will be ready to go from lead to contracted client.
Non-internet marketing is just one method of obtaining leads, but always keep in mind that it is POINTLESS to do any marketing that isn’t going to generate calls or emails. Everything you do should be to generate calls and emails from potential clients. Some forms of traditional media are better than others for marketing. Types of non-internet marketing include radio, television, newspaper, magazines, mailers and business cards. Some types will be more effective than others and though we do give our personal preferences on traditional marketing tactics, sometimes it’s best to do your own experimentation in each, and see which forms of traditional media will yield the most response. You can read up on each one to get our take on it and see which forms of media worked best for us.
