The Real Estate Agent’s Pledge for Success

pledge-copy.jpgI, (state your name), am a licensed real estate agent that realizes the importance of getting leads, working leads and following up properly with leads. I also realize that everything I do from this point forward is for the purpose of lead generation. Some leads may have inaccurate information, but I won’t immediately proclaim it as a ‘junk lead.’ I will instead do a little research to get enough information to proceed with follow up.

My pipeline of leads must never run dry because I know that if it does I won’t have any leads to turn into clients, nor the ability to make money and I will start to blame others for my failures. I accept the fact that most leads from all my generation efforts will not produce immediate results. However, with my exceptional follow up system, my pipeline of leads will take on a wide range of settlement dates anywhere from next month, 6 months, next year or even 5 years from now. I will continue to follow up with my leads until I can get an appointment to help them with their needs. This follow up will include as many phone calls, emails, mailers and property visits as necessary to get the appointment.

I will work with an accountability partner/coach so I do not become LAZY. I will learn to overcome my fear of rejection and cold calls so I will never become SCARED. I will educate myself regularly through various means for better sales and marketing techniques so I will never become STUPID. I will exhaust every effort within my means to make myself memorable to as many people as possible so they’ll contact me when they have a real estate need.

My real estate career is a business and I pledge to treat it as such and have all the correct business components in place to increase my chances of success. I realize that leads are the lifeline of my business and without them I will fail…and failure is NOT an option!
